Story of the founder
From enterprise insurance to Swiss Industry 4.0 — one engineer, every step.
I started out in Bogor, then spent 2 years inside a multi-country insurance platform — integrating 15+ insurance APIs, payment gateways, and a policy document engine across Indonesia and Thailand. That is where the bar got set: enterprise reliability, real production load, real consequences.
After that came a deliberately wide stretch — InKanteen's QR ordering across canteens and restaurants, Redek's dispute resolution platform for a Colombian bank, F&B and wholesale ERPs through Gromura and Inovata. The point was never code depth alone. It was domain breadth — learning how software actually meets warehouses, merchants, and operations teams.
In 2023 I founded Idin Studio to bring agency-level structure to founder-led delivery. No handoff to a junior. No quiet relay. The person you brief is the person whose hands are in the architecture and the production code.
In October 2024 the Swiss Industry 4.0 engagement began — industrial IoT, edge AI, MQTT, and OPC-UA. 18+ months later it is still active. That is the difference between a freelancer who finishes a contract and a founder who carries a system.

- 2018
First professional engineering role
Joined a Jakarta cloud services company as a full-stack web developer. Shipped a real-time queue system that cut customer wait times by roughly 40% — the first time production traffic depended on code I owned end-to-end.
- 2019
Multi-country insurance platform — APAC scale
Joined as software engineer on an APAC insurance platform serving Indonesia and Thailand. Integrated multiple carrier APIs, payment gateways, and a policy document engine — first taste of building software under real regulatory scrutiny. Enrolled in Mercu Buana B.Comp.Sc in parallel.

Banking ODR system — Colombian fintech
Consultant on an online dispute resolution platform for a Colombian banking client. Workflow design and engineering work that cut case resolution time by approximately 50% — domain breadth across language, regulation, and time zone.
- 2022
F&B QR ordering platform — MVP to production
Full-stack developer leading the MVP of a QR ordering platform end-to-end — merchant dashboard, customer-facing QR flow, and POS used across canteens and restaurants. Learned how merchant-side software lives or dies on small operational details.

Wholesale operational dashboard — SE consulting
Software engineering consultant on an operational dashboard for warehouse and sales teams. Different industry, same engineering discipline — clean architecture, tight feedback loops, real production load.
- 2024
Graduation, iPOS for warungs, Alpamayo onboarded
Mercu Buana B.Comp.Sc — graduated July 2024 with GPA 3.79. SE consultant on an iPOS product for Indonesian warungs (Apr–Sept). Joined Alpamayo GmbH as platform engineering consultant in October 2024. Owns customer-facing and plugin layer across PREKIT (Alpamayo's edge data platform) plus two production customer applications — UI design system, Grafana data source plugin in Go with TimescaleDB, MCP-based AI assistant, Sphinx documentation platform adopted as company standard.

Idin Studio formalized as an agency
Transitioned from solo freelancer to founder-led agency. Goal: bring agency-level structure to founder-led delivery — no relay, no junior handovers, no surprises. Layered .claude workflow becomes the spine of every engagement.

Operating principles
These are not slogans on a deck. They are the rules I run every project against — including this one.
Ship fast, polish iteratively.
Speed to market is the primary driver. We ship the smallest correct version, put it in front of real users, and refine on real signal — not imagined edge cases.
Clean Architecture is mandatory, even for prototypes.
Domain, use case, adapter, handler. The structure pays for itself the first time a feature needs to change shape — which on a real product is week 3, not year 2.
